Today I'm sharing some things that I love
Wing backed chairs.
They remind me of my Granny
Fresh flowers - especially Irises, Hydrangeas,
Lisianthus and Rununculas
My Mum's house always has cut flowers
( usually from her garden)
Books
My Mum once told me that I'd never be lonely
as long as I could read
The sound and smell of rain
Music - in all shapes and forms. I love that it can represent so
many things. It is a universal language.
"Music speaks what cannot be expressed,
soothes the mind and gives it rest,
heals the heart and makes it whole,
flows from heaven to the soul"
Companionable silence
The sound of my kids laughter - best sound in the world
Dandelions.... close your eyes
make a wish
and blow
What do you love?

I love the sound of thunder when you are snuggled in bed, I love an unexpected kiss, I love time to myself without any pressure to 'do', I love flowers and always try to have some in the house too, I love a good book, I love to feel crafty but never seem to have the time to do this anymore, I love watching my babies sleep, I love a good hug and and I love you, I love hearing a story from my husband that I never knew about him before, I love being at a big gathering of friends and family, I love watching the sky change over a beach, I love traveling to new places, I love when music moves you and makes you remember a long ago smell or time from the past, I love getting my hair dome and feeling great for a few hours, I love lying in bed and talking with my husband for hours about anything till we doze off and I love lifelong friends who know your heart and everything that has passed through it- the good, the bad and the ugly!
ReplyDeleteFelicity - I love what you love! Love you x
